APOLOGIES

Dear Subscribers,

Last Wednesday our wires crossed and we sent a " member only" job announcement out via this, our Weekly E-Letter mailing list (which just topped 600 last week!). Our sincere apologies; we hope it did not inconvenience you. At the very least, it serves as an example of the type of jobs which are posted via our chapter's job hotline.

Many thanks,
Mark Monlux
E-mail Coordinator

CHANGES on the CHAPTER BOARD

Our treasurer Nicole Roberts got a textile design job in Minnesota. Louise Holder, our past Treasurer will fill in for her until our chapter elections coming in May. We are going to miss the great work which Nicole has done for our chapter. We wish her the best success as she takes her seat in the intimate apparel design shop at Target's headquarters. Send congratulations to Nicole at nrillustration@aol.com

The only qualification you need in order to fill one of these seats is to be a voting Guild member. And you can't use the argument that "I don't have any experience." Nobody who took them in the past had experience. We are looking for folks who know they have to give back a little to be a part of the whole experience.

Our Chapter Board needs members to step forward for the following positions.

President: call Chuck with questions 206-283-4103
Representative: call Mark with questions 253-471-0820
Treasurer: call Louise with questions 425-821-3661

DISCLAIMER / REMOVE REQUESTS

If you want to be removed from the SPGA/Seattle Chapter's Weekly E-mail list you can go to www.seattleguild.org and unsubscribe. Or send your request to markmonlux@comcast.net

If you suddenly stop receiving the weekly e-letter please check your subscription at the website and if you continue to have problems, contact us.

All emails addresses are kept in strict confidence. The postings in this e-mail are a compilation of postings sent into the e-mail coordinator over the prior week.

Contributed postings are often received or forwarded second and even third hand. Thus, the provided information is bound to be a bit fuzzy at times, as postings are not painfully researched for accuracy.

Also, little if any proofing is done to the announcements that are posted. They are generally posts as-is. Postings that originate from the e-mail coordinator are bound to be full of grammatical and spelling errors as this is completely voluntary service done by an overworked, tired and often confused artist who is trying to pound this thing out before Buffy the Vampire Slayer comes on.

Please feel free to respond with postings, comments, questions, and requests for removal, to the e-mail coordinator: Mark Monlux at markmonlux@comcast.net.
